When entering the city from the north (travelling on the A2 motorway, then taking the exit marked “Magdeburg Zentrum” onto the B71, B189), continue on Magdeburger Ring until you reach the exit marked "Zentrum Süd, Sudenburg, Buckau". Continue under the bridge and keep in the left lane, then turn left into “Am Fuchsberg”. The AMO is signposted from here. Cross over Leipziger Strasse and continue on Erich-Weinert-Strasse. The AMO is situated on the left, 100m after the railway crossing (1.5km from the Magdeburger Ring exit).

When entering the city from the south (travelling on the A14 motorway, then taking the exit marked "Sudenburg, Zentrum" onto the B71, B81), continue on Magdeburger Ring until you reach the exit marked "Zentrum Süd, Sudenburg, Buckau". Continue straight ahead on the road “Am Fuchsberg”. The AMO is signposted from here. Cross over Leipziger Strasse and continue on Erich-Weinert-Strasse. The AMO is situated on the left, 100m after the railway crossing (1.5km from the “Magdeburger Ring exit).

On exiting the central station (using the exit marked “Zentrum“), go straight across the station forecourt to the tram stop. Take tram 3 to “Hasselbachplatz” (direction “Reform“, third stop, journey time of approx. 4 min). Change here and take tram 2, in the direction of “Westerhüsen“, until you reach the stop marked "AMO, Steubenallee" (second stop, journey time of approx. 3 min).

During the day on weekdays, tram 8 (direction “Buckau“) travels directly from the central station to the “AMO, Steubenallee” stop. Please refer to the notices and electronic displays provided by the MVB (Magdeburg’s public transport system).
