When entering the city from the north (travelling on the A2 motorway, then the B71, B189), continue on Magdeburger Ring until you reach the exit marked “B1, Zentrum", where you should take the left lane onto the B1 (PLEASE NOTE that the bridge has a height limit of 4.00m). Continue in an easterly direction, following the signs for "Elbauenpark/MESSE MAGDEBURG" straight ahead on the following route: Albert-Vater-Strasse – underpass - Walther-Rathenau-Strasse - Askanischer Platz – bridges over the Elbe river – straight over the traffic lights at Jerichower Platz, and then continue on Jerichower Strasse. Move into the left lane after approx. 500m, then turn left into the MESSE MAGDEBURG car park directly in front of you.
The main entrance to the Elbauenpark is signposted from here.
(Approx. 3.5km from the Magdeburger Ring exit).
Please follow the signs for "Elbauenpark/MESSE MAGDEBURG".

When entering the city from the south (travelling on the A14 motorway, then taking the exit marked "Sudenburg Zentrum" onto the B71, B81), continue on Magdeburger Ring until you reach the exit marked "Zentrum Süd, Sudenburg, Buckau". After taking this exit, continue straight ahead for approx. 3km, on the following route: Am Fuchsberg - Erich-Weinert-Strasse - Steubenallee – Schleinufer, until you reach Askanischer Platz. Turn right onto the B1 (easterly direction) and continue on the bridges over the Elbe river, then straight over the major traffic lights at Jerichower Platz and further along Jerichower Strasse. Move into the left lane after approx. 500m, then turn left into the MESSE MAGDEBURG car park directly in front of you.
The main entrance to the Elbauenpark is signposted from here.

Tram
To get to the Elbauenpark, use
- Tram 5 (direction “Messegelände”) or
- Tram 6 (direction “Herrenkrug”)
Travel as far as the tram stop marked “Messegelände/Elbauenpark“. You will then see the main entrances to the Elbauenpark and MESSE MAGDEBURG on the right (both approx. 150m (as the crow flies) from the tram stop).

Bus
When travelling on bus 51 from Heyrothsberge, continue until you reach the stop marked “Jerichower Platz”. Then walk in a northerly direction along Tessenowstrasse and across the car park until you reach the main entrance to the Elbauenpark. The MESSE MAGDEBURG is on the right. (approx. 500m (as the crow flies) from the bus stop).

Bus 51

On exiting the central station (using the exit marked “Zentrum“), go across the station forecourt and to the tram stop "CITY CARRE / Hauptbahnhof”, situated in Ernst-Reuter-Allee. Travel in an easterly direction for approx. 3.5km, using
- Tram 5 (in the direction of Messegelände) or
- Tram 6 (in the direction of Herrenkrug)
Travel until you reach the tram stop marked “Messegelände/Elbauenpark“. You will then see the main entrances to the Elbauenpark and MESSE MAGDEBURG on the right (both approx. 150m (as the crow flies) from the tram stop).
You can also take a taxi from the station forecourt to the Elbauenpark.

Tram 6 

Magdeburg Commercial Airport is situated in the south of the city, in close proximity to the B71. Travelling by car from the airport, take the B71 in the direction “Stadt/Zentrum”, travelling on Magdeburger Ring until you reach the exit marked "Zentrum Süd, Sudenburg, Buckau".
