When entering the city from the north (travelling on the A2 motorway, then taking the exit marked “Zentrum” onto the B71, B189), continue on Magdeburger Ring until you reach the exit marked “Zentrum, Hauptbahnhof". Continue along the main road towards the city centre and central train station (PLEASE NOTE that the bridge has a height limit of 3.40m). The "Stadtpark Rotehorn" is signposted from here. Travel eastwards on Ernst-Reuter-Allee, over the “Strombrücke“ bridge. After the bridge, move into the left lane and turn into the Rotehornpark. Continue alongside the Elbe river for approx. 1.5km. The Stadthalle Magdeburg is situated 500m after the MDR regional broadcasting studios (approx. 3km from the Magdeburger Ring “Zentrum” exit).

When entering the city from south (travelling on the A14 motorway, then taking the exit marked "Sudenburg Zentrum" onto the B71, B81), continue on Magdeburger Ring until you reach the exit marked "Zentrum Süd, Sudenburg, Buckau". The "Stadtpark Rotehorn" is signposted from here (approx. 4km from the Magdeburger Ring exit).

On exiting the central station (using the exit marked “Zentrum“), go across the station forecourt and to the tram stop "CITY CARRE / Hauptbahnhof” on the left. From here take bus 59 to the end stop, marked "Stadthalle" (journey time approx. 8 min, approx. 3km). You can also take a taxi from the station forecourt to the Stadthalle.

Magdeburg Commercial Airport is situated in the south of the city, in close proximity to the B71. Travelling by car from the airport, take the B71 in the direction “Stadt/Zentrum”, travelling on Magdeburger Ring until you reach the exit marked "Zentrum Süd, Sudenburg, Buckau". The “Stadtpark Rotehorn” is signposted from here.
You can also take a taxi from the airport to the Stadthalle Magdeburg.
